Why buy from Simple Solar Solutions?
Correctly installing the best Solar Hot Water systems for the Clark County, Washington area is what we do. Doing it right the first time is our promise to you. Doing it right the first time is always the best way to go and to doing it right most often costs less in the long run. Our prices usually run in the middle of the pack. There are some companies that will install the same product at a lower price and some companies that will charge more for the same product. We do only one thing and we are very efficient at doing that one thing. So why do we cost a little bit more than the low cost installer. Anyone can install a system quickly and cheaply. It always costs a little more to install a system correctly. It always takes a little more time and special equipment to do it right. We have proprietary techniques and equipment that put us ahead of the competition without costing you an arm or a leg. We will explain how we do what we call the correct install at your presentation.. We want you to know in general terms what we are doing and why we are doing it. We believe that it is more important to do things right than to do things fast. This includes our presentation. We do not have salesmen give you the presentation, we have installers or designers give you the presentation.
We believe that we install the best Thermal Solar Collector money can buy. The Apricus product comes from Australia. These evacuated tubes are "State of the Art." They were originally invented in America by the Corning Glass company in the 1960's. In the 1980's American companies got out of the renewable energy market. German companies took up the designs and perfected the evacuated tube. In the 1990's, Apricus came up with a twist for the internal parts within the evacuated tubes. Let us show you how this little twist is just right for Southwest Washington. In our opinion, for Southwest Washington, there is no better system than the Apricus collector system.
We also use what is called a hot water preheating method. We take the water coming out of the ground at 51 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter and 54 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer and bring it up to an average of 80 degrees in the winter, 100+ degrees in the spring and fall and as much as 140+ degrees in the summer. Sometimes in the winter our system can get your water well above 120 degrees and at other times during the winter our system will be unable to preheat your water at all. Don't worry, you still have your old water heater to heat the water coming out of the storage tank and then going into your house.
With a preheat system, we just preheat the water so that your regular hot water heater does not have to work so hard. (And you do not have to pay for the gas or electricity that it would be using.) Winter, low sun light conditions limit all solar collectors, however, evacuated tube collectors perform the best during low sun light conditions. Evacuated tube collectors can produce heat even during very cloudy days and all but a few rainy days. Clark county is known for its cloudy days, that is why we use only evacuated tube collectors.
Evacuated tube collectors can produce very hot water in the summer. Our system's controller, with its multiple sensors, will limit the amount of heat moving to the storage tank. Any time the collector produces more heat than the system needs, such as when you are on vacation for more than a couple of days or on very hot summer days, the controller unit will send this excess heat to the system's heat dissipater. This is just one of the many automatic/safety feather our systems have.
Another automatic/safety feather is what is called a mixing valve. If the water in your water heater should get hotter than 120 degrees, the mixing valve will mix cold water with the hot water to keep the temperature of the hot water entering you house at approximately 120 degrees. People can get hurt if the hot water entering the house should ever get above 120 degrees. All Simple Solar Solutions Apricus Solar Hot Water systems come with a mixing valve and a heat dissipater.
Simple Solar Solution's Solar Hot Water systems are turn on and forget systems. Once you turn on a Simple Solar Solution's Solar Hot Water system you can forget about it. It will take care of its self. You should have it checked once every two or three years to ensure that it is running as efficiently as possible, but other than that you should pretty much be able to forget you have the system. This can not always be said about Solar Hot Water system from other companies.
Correctly installing the best Solar Hot Water systems for the Clark County, Washington area is what we do. There are some companies that will install the same product at a lower price and some companies that will charge more for the same product. We usually fall in the middle when it comes to price but we always fall in the top when it comes to quality. We do only one thing and we do it right. We have special equipment and techniques that we think put us also at the top. At our presentation, we will explain how we do what we call a correct install.
